I am Rev. Godfrey Byamukama, the Missions and Evangelism Coordinator, as well as the Community Health Empowerment Ministry (CHE) Facilitator of the Diocese of Kinkiizi since 2018 and currently. CHE facilitators and I work closely with the local people to provide economic, social, and emotional support. The rural communities participating in this project have achieved many positive outcomes.
We actively participate in local resource mobilization strategies and advocate for funding opportunities to finance these activities, ultimately resulting in improved living conditions and supportive and sustainable environments.
Our key areas of focus include food security. water purification systems, better health and hygiene practices, guidance on good housing management, and healthy agriculture. This includes, but is not limited to, growing pineapples, mangoes, pawpaw, and avocados. We offer Business Plans and initiate Savings Plans, thus assisting in building a financial foundation for families willing to participate.
We request for your Support, Partnership and engagements on funding to establish and Promote Mpungu Community Health Empowerment Institute School CHEIS Program for Skills Development with Knitting and Tailoring projects and Social Life Skills Development and innovation , which have been successfully implemented at the All Saints Church in the Katete Community.
We support and advise on the growth and care of Livestock such as Goats, Sheep, Cows as well as Chicken farming. Music and Hymns of Faith, supporting our Christian beliefs, are part of who we are, and we have even composed our own Community Empowerment Ministry Anthem. We are now in dire need of funds to finance and build a Recreational Center for Further Development.
The center will house meaningful activities aimed at improving both home-care and the lives of the elders who require medical assistance. Additionally, it will provide mentoring for the youth to support their emotional wellness and growth.
